RAGGED OAK

Colorado Post-Rock

Ragged Oak is the musical project of multi-instrumentalist, Joshua Mendrala. Ragged Oak's music boasts of broad dynamics and cinematic influences with introspective lyrics and genre-bending compositions. Combining the sublime nature of the West with the 21st century human experience, Ragged Oak seeks to explore something deeper within every song.

Under the Ragged Oak name, Mendrala also creates videos, original compositions, and learning material.

ABOUT RAGGED OAK

Ragged Oak is a post-rock band that dances on the fringes of genre. Started, and fronted by Joshua Mendrala, Ragged Oak is a full-band sound produced by Mendrala's direction and vision. Utilizing the talents of various musicians and songwriters, Ragged Oak produces a high-dynamic, introspective world within songs both in the live performance space, and in the recording space. Based in Durango, CO, Ragged Oak has toured the four corners area since 2023, and is a collaborative force.
